Some time ago I read an article that the use of GPS causes atrophy of the hippocampus. This means that dying part of the brain that corresponds to such the spatial imagination and the process of remembering.
With laziness, I do not want to look for what part of the brain is responsible for addition and subtraction, but this part froze many people some time ago.
The reason was probably the invention of the calculator. Read more
