After the Irish crisis, which erupted with full force last week and which may lead to the collapse of the euro area has reached us about the Korean conflict.
In my head, I lit a lamp - or not as the assassination in Sarajevo? I decided to re-read the book, Ahamed - "Lords of Finance."
Liaquat Ahamed, was a World Bank economist. He was also managing an investment fund. Now it has become bestselerowym author and "Lords of Finance" was hailed as one of the best economic books of 2010.
Through the prism of the four biographicals most powerful central bankers, Ahamed describes the crisis of the 30s of last century, which is commonly known as the Great Depression.
The protagonists of this drama are: Benjamin Strong - Head of the Fed, Montagu Norman - President of the Bank of England, Emile Morceau - Managing the Banque de France, Hjalmer Schacht - Head of the Reichsbank of Germany.

I announced in the RTE that Ireland will receive 65 billion euros in aid from the EU and the IMF to finance the budget deficit and recapitalize banks.
Formal conditions for the aid package will be published next week.
The amount given by the Irish radio communications is different from Reuters, which said about 85 billion. At 12 Zerah, who would have instantly drawn attention to the first digit. The various news agencies are trying to make the administration of information and hence may result, such "minor" differences.
Suppose that the EU and the IMF provide loans of 65 billion. Today roughly estimated that Ireland is missing about 200 billion to maintain solvency.
This means that ECB will have to roll the credits for 130 billion, given Irish banks this year. If we add the 7 billion pounds of British loan, plus an unknown amount declared as the direct assistance of Sweden, a total of Ireland with its "nationalized" the banking system will get as much money as it does not. It seems that more surprises will be, although Greece had already been a precedent, which, after giving aid by the EU acknowledged that it gave false information.

It is the lawyer's diary, written in the years 1931-1941. The author, Benjamin Roth, maintained his office in Youngstown, and tries to understand the economic reality that surrounds him.
This is not an exciting story, but some entries very well could be built today. Several times I caught up on the fact that I had to "force the recall," that the entries are from before the 80-plus years. Read more

"Hit the table and the scissors they call" - a proverb became flesh. Suddenly the state-owned China Telecom has issued a statement that kidnapping is wrong by them in April of Internet traffic for 18 minutes.
Yesterday, a congressional committee evaluating the Sino-US economic relations and security issues in its annual report stated that Internet traffic generated by the U.S. Senate, the Department of Defense, NASA and other government agencies in April, was directed by Chinese servers.

When I listened to him, overtook me such a thought that studying philosophy and law, should be permitted only after fifty - but it's such a marginal afterthought, which requires a separate entry reasons.
