The largest IPO in U.S. history

GM returns to the stock exchange.

Shares were valued at $ 33 apiece, which will bring the company 22 billion green ($). This will be the biggest debut of the U.S. stock market and take the title of Visa, which has raised from the market nearly $ 18 billion before the crisis of 2008.

Unfortunately, the title remains the world's largest IPO in China, unless used options are an additional issue in the case of oversubscription. Then the value of the IPO will rise to 23.1 billion dollars and this will be the largest IPO in the world.

The fact, however, we'll find out probably tomorrow

Shares will be traded on the NYSE under the traditional symbol of the "GM" and on the Toronto Stock Exchange (symbol: GMM). The company will have nearly eighteen-month break in the quotedoh, since it was removed from the exchange, after the bankruptcy June 1, 2009. Before that was listed on the NYSE since 1911.
