China grab Web traffic




A few days ago when the first reports that the Chinese have redirected 15% of the entire Internet to each other - including the traffic between the government and military servers in the U.S..

"Hit the table and the scissors they call" - a proverb became flesh. Suddenly the state-owned China Telecom has issued a statement that kidnapping is wrong by them in April of Internet traffic for 18 minutes.

Yesterday, a congressional committee evaluating the Sino-US economic relations and security issues in its annual report stated that Internet traffic generated by the U.S. Senate, the Department of Defense, NASA and other government agencies in April, was directed by Chinese servers.
